DPSoccer provides the most advanced training methods to young soccer players. DPSoccer Camps, Academy programs and Skills training are available to everyone. DPS also provide soccer development programs for local clubs, schools and individual teams.

Enjoyment
Our first priority, when we interact with the kids, is to make sure they are enjoying themselves before we even think about any other area of soccer. We first instill a passion and burning desire for soccer that will make them keep coming back to the soccer field.

Development
Everyone talks about development, but the specifics in the teaching methods are what make the difference. That is where our coaching experience and methods come into play.

Technique is taught using maximum touches and repetitions of game like situational exercises. Technical training will occur the first 30-40 minutes of each practice and will usually have a ball to player ratio of 1:1 or 1:2. This also incorporates psychomotor development that provides movement, education and/or coordination training.
Small group Tactics and the principles of Attacking and Defending are taught through active participation and by the concept of “the game is the teacher”. The coach’s instructions are short, direct and inclusive. An ounce of words, a ton of practice.

Competition
Kids want to be competitive. We believe in placing kids of equal ability together . In a positive environment where kids are praised for trying their best and are not pressured in a results - oriented environment, competition is good and players will improve more rapidly.

The Academy
An Academy literarily means “A school for special instruction”. The concept is to provide top quality coaching on a consistent and persistent basis that will not burn the kids out but will provide a technical foundation yielding tremendous dividends for years to come. The academy requires a greater commitment from the coach and the players, thus creates an improved learning environment because the coach can now build a training program that connects his/her teachings from one training session to the next. This consistency helps build a stronger relationship between the players and the coach, and as a result it builds confidence in the players and they improve drastically.
